Rooted in Farmer Empowerment
Under the visionary leadership of Hon. Shri Baburao Dada Tanpure, and with the forward-looking guidance of Hon. Member of Parliament, Hon. Shri Bapusaheb Tanpure, Prasad Sugar was founded with a core mission — to ensure that farmers receive fair value for their agricultural produce, especially sugarcane.
The company undertakes processing of raw farm produce like sugarcane to manufacture various by-products including sugar, molasses, filter cake, and RS, Ethanol, thereby adding value at every stage and supporting the rural economy.
Capacity & Growth Milestones
Prasad Sugar began its journey with a trial crushing season in 2012, starting with a cane crushing capacity of 2,500 MT per day.
Responding to increasing demand and operational success, the plant’s capacity was expanded to 4,000 MT per day in the year 2016. This growth marks the company’s ongoing commitment to scaling operations while maintaining quality and efficiency.
